Good Customer Service
Last Saturday night, my wonderful husband, Russell, surprised me with 2 dozen red roses and steak which he made for dinner. A couple days later the roses were looking a little droopy and the edges were brown. That is NOT normal. Ever time Russell purchases flowers from Sam's Club they die within a few days. (Whenever I purchase flowers from Walmart they last me 2 weeks and I didn't do anything differently.) I was in Sam's this weekend and asked told the customer service lady about my roses. She told me to bring them back. I picked Russell up from work and we went to music practice at church (the whole time the roses were in the hot car). We made it back to Sam's with only a few minutes to spare before they closed at 8:30 p.m. They lady was so nice. I couldn't find my receipt which was in my purse the whole time; I just couldn't find it since I was hurrying. She let me exchange them anyway without any questions or being rude. I had such a great experience that I'm going to e-mail their customer service and let them know. So often in retail you never hear positive feedback! Just thought I'd share the good experience.

What beautiful roses! They are my favorite flower even though they do tend to die faster than most. That's great that Sam's club exchanged your flowers.
I had the same great experience with Sam's - I got a bad Pineapple once and they refunded my money, plus gave me a new one - I thought that was great. Sorry about Sunday, I was really bummed because we miss you guys. We will be in touch about a different time to get together. My brother is leaving Wednesday the 29th and things will be in more of a routine then. Hope you are doing well!
Wow! That is so amazing! It's just so rare taht you find good customer service anymore. So good to hear!
That is great about Sam's club, but the my excitement is due to the fact that Russel pulled out the stops with dinner and flowers!! What a nice treat!
I love red roses, and those are sure beautiful even in a picture.
It is a blessing to receive good customer service, and you're right -- we should be thankful just as loudly as we complain when we receive not so great service.
good for you and good for Sam's Club!! Way to bring up the bar of customer service in Hampton Roads;) That was one thing that quite shocked me when we moved here...(you would think that California would be bad about CS--but it is wonderful.) Thanks for stopping by the blog yesterday--hope you two are doing well! ;)
Very nice! I would have never known they would do that!!
You asked me about my job. It is called PWC Sales and it is going great. I am calling different people located at different companies to insure they are still there and that their address is still the same. Pretty simple right now. I have a new project i'm starting soon as well.
yep--Cogan's is our favorite!! We branched out this time and tried the spicy sauce on our pizza and loved it. I do reccommend sitting on the porch at Cogan's too;) Some of their stuff inside is quite interesting to say the least! ;)
wow, I had no idea you could return flowers. I will have to keep that in mind!

Kristin,
check out my website for more info on the products I sell. I want to mainly focus on team building, so my website is geared toward that aspect of my business, but if you browse the pages, you will see the products. Let me know if you are interested in hostessing a candle open house anytime! It's easy to do since all we have to do is invite people to come and smell candles...no presentation necessary...unless someone doesn't know how to light a candle:)
Here is the website. hope you like my new site!
